Josh is a senior associate of the firm having joined O’Keefe & Sullivan in 2024 after managing his own solo practice and several years working in a small firm setting. Josh routinely assists taxpayers involved in tax disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), particularly owner-managers of private corporations and small businesses. Josh represents clients throughout the CRA appeals process, with taxpayer relief applications, voluntary disclosures, and tax litigation in the Tax Court of Canada.
Josh has a strong background in business law and has completed his master’s degree in tax from Osgoode Hall. By combining this educational background with his natural talent as a litigator, Josh proudly represents O’Keefe & Sullivan clients in all manners of commercial litigation including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, restructuring and insolvency matters, and tax litigation matters.
Josh is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and is pursuing a Trust and Estate Practitioner, TEP, designation. Outside of the office, Josh is a proud husband, Dog Dad, and an active gym-goer, being former world champion powerlifter and world record holder.
