Sharmain Mudekwe | Paralegal (NCA Candidate)

Sharmain is a member of our Corporate and Commercial law team, providing support to our clients and colleagues alike.

Sharmain is a qualified lawyer in Zimbabwe, and works with the prestigious Clairwood Chambers, Mutamangira and Associates, a prominent commercial law firm in Zimbabwe, from 2021 to 2023. During her time with Clairwood Chambers, Sharmain developed a strong foundation in commercial law which she has now brought to benefit our clients at O’Keefe & Sullivan. During her tenure at Clairwood Chambers, Sharmain worked on various commercial law cases, contracts, and disputes, gaining valuable experience in litigation and dispute resolution.

At O'Keefe & Sullivan, Sharmain is currently working as a paralegal while she completes her National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) Qualification. In this role, Sharmain supports our team in delivering exceptional results for our clients, particularly in restructuring matters. Since joining the firm in 2024, Sharmain has worked on numerous complex bankruptcy proceedings, including creditor representation and debt restructuring.

Outside of work, Sharmain enjoys nature walks and spending quality time with her husband and her dog.
